Pre vet student doctor network
I've got a couple suggestions. My mom gave me a book a couple years ago called The Horse Doctor Is In by Brent Kelley, DVM. He presents horse health care using stories from his time as an equine vet in Kentucky. Also, one of my all time favorite books is Most of My Patients Are Animals by Robert M. The larger contingent favors UT. I recommend A&M in your case, since A&M has the only vet school in TX. It also has its own med sch. UT schools are separate and are more established. You're pre-vet until you start vet school. The years within a program there's some wiggle room, but I wouldn't call you a college freshman if you hadn't yet started college either. Oct 6, 2013. #8. UPEI and Dal (previously NSAC) both have pre vet programs. I went to Dal and I loved it. They have farm animals on sight that are used frequently for classes.
